To evidence your success as our tour guide, I shall mention that – following the interest she expressed in making a trip to Portugal – we related to our eldest granddaughter the history of the Portuguese Jewry, and felt as if we were reciting your very words, which goes to prove that your explanations were all-heartedly heard and deeply apprehended.
As the saying goes – “An excellent guide is him who inspires”.
