Spain – In the wake of Jewish legacy
For 1500 years, Spain (Sefarad) was home to the Jews.
We shall together embark on a journey to discover their legacy. We’ll visit sites, meet people, and get acquainted with poetry and dance from the perspective of today’s Spain, its scenery and its reality.
Our journey takes us from Castile, through Extremadura all the way down to Andalucía, focusing in modern and ancient Spain while continuously interweaving the Jewish theme.
Toledo – “The Jerusalem which was in Sefarad”.
Madrid – Europe at its best, through the unique local culture.
Caceres – A medieval time-capsule.
Hervás – An example of a typical Jewish town in old Spain through a musical experience.
